Pauline Purcell

I am experienced family Solicitor, Mediator, Collaborative Lawyer and Family Arbitrator, having specialised exclusively in family law for over 30 years. I have considerable expertise in high value financial cases with a particular interest in businesses and pensions. I have been a member of Resolution for many years and am committed to helping you, my client, reach an agreement if possible, using my experience and skills, always focused on what is best for you. If an agreement cannot be reached and court or family arbitration proceedings take place, I will robustly represent you in these, continuing to use my best endeavours to help you resolve matters so that you can get on with the next stage of your life. I have lectured in Family Law at Buckingham University on the part-time undergraduate law degree which was a privilege and pleasure as this is where I undertook my law degree many years ago.

I am is a keen football fan and regularly attend Premier League games and enjoy singing.

Mandi Austin

I qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 and have over 20 years of experience in Family Law. I am a Family Law Solicitor and Director at Purcell. I am also a member of Resolution and an accredited specialist on the Law Society Family Law Panel. I advise on relationship breakdown and divorce, financial settlements, co-habitee disputes, domestic injunctions and Children’s Act proceedings such as disputes as to the arrangements for the children and arrangements involved in creating families. I was instructed on a reported case in this complex area of law, Z (Embryo Adoption: Declaration of Non-Parentage) [2018] EWFC 68 (10 July 2018)

I am also a trained Collaborative Lawyer and I am therefore able to offer individuals a choice regarding how they wish to deal with matters upon the breakdown of their relationship.

I am committed to the guidelines set down by Resolution which advocates a non-adversarial approach to issues arising from the breakdown of a marriage or relationship, my aim being to reach a fair and just resolution as painlessly and as cost-effectively as possible, however if the need arises, I also have extensive experience of the local Courts to robustly represent you as necessary.

Lisa Buckridge

I am a Director at Purcell and an experienced solicitor, collaborative lawyer and a Family Mediation Council accredited mediator. I have specialised exclusively in family law since 2003, qualifying as a solicitor in 2011. I am committed to finding the best solutions for clients and trained as a mediator to enable me to offer a range of solutions to those facing family issues and have received accredited status.

I am ranked in Chambers and Partners and described as an outstanding solicitor with excellent legal knowledge and brilliant communication. She goes above and beyond for her clients and provides realistic and practical advice.

Peter Beck

Non Executive Director

Peter is a non executive Director advising the Board in respect of financial issues, strategic planning and business development. Peter is a retired Regional Manager for RBS and his financial background and common sense approach has been invaluable to the firm for some years.
